API 5CT — Hydrostatic test pressure and pipe weight. Yield strength is locked to the grade value.

API 5CT T95 has a minimum yield of 655 MPa (95 ksi) and is produced in the quench and tempered condition as a sour service grade. It is specified for deeper sour service wells where L80 yield strength is insufficient.

When to use this calculator: Calculate hydrostatic test pressure for T95 sour service casing and compare against L80 to determine whether the higher-strength grade is needed.
